The Prophets

Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel and the twelve Minor Prophets

11 lessons

The prophets were God’s voice at the decisive moments of Israel’s history. They exposed sin, called people to repentance, comforted the afflicted and looked far ahead, toward the day when God would send his Messiah and establish his Kingdom.

In the first module you will discover who the prophets were, what roles they had and how to read a prophecy correctly, telling apart the message for their own time from what concerns the future. In the second module you will get to know the Major Prophets: Isaiah and the suffering Servant, Jeremiah and Lamentations with the promise of the new covenant, Ezekiel with the glory of God and the new heart, and Daniel, faithful in Babylon and a witness to the kingdoms of the world and the eternal Kingdom. In the third module you will listen to the twelve Minor Prophets, before and after the exile, all the way to Malachi, the last voice of the Old Testament.

With the BereaWay Method you will receive each prophet in his historical context, examine his message and connect it to its fulfillment in Christ and to your own life.
