Sin, salvation and the Holy Spirit
What went wrong with the world? What has God done to put it right? And how does someone who has been saved live, day after day? These are the most important questions a human being can ask, and the Bible answers them clearly.
This course goes one step beyond Foundations of the Faith: it enters the heart of the doctrine of salvation. In the first module we will return to the garden of Eden to understand the nature of sin and why “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). In the second module we will follow the path of grace: repentance, faith, the new birth, justification and sanctification. In the third module we will get to know the Holy Spirit up close: who he is, how the Bible describes him and what he does in those who believe.
We will study each doctrine with the BereaWay Method: we will receive the texts in their context, examine them carefully and connect them to the whole of Scripture, so that we arrive not only at clearer ideas, but at a firmer faith and a transformed life.
The first lesson is free: start today.
