Biblical Leadership
Leading as servants, after the pattern of Christ
Every church needs people who lead: pastors and elders, but also leaders of youth groups, worship, Sunday school and home groups. But what does it mean to lead according to the Bible? The world talks about power, charisma and success. Jesus talks about service: “whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister” (Mark 10:43).
This course is designed for those who already serve as leaders and for those who are preparing to do so.
In the first module we will define Christian leadership, discover the model of the servant leader and see why every leader needs a vision that comes from God.
In the second module we will look at character: the leader’s spiritual life, the qualities Scripture highlights, the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, and the dangers of success, power and pride.
In the third module we will turn to practice: thinking and planning, communicating, building a team, delegating and training other leaders.
In every lesson we will follow the BereaWay Method: we will receive the biblical texts, examine them carefully and connect them to the concrete life of the church. Because Christian leadership is not born from techniques, but from a life shaped by the Word.
